Bio

Fiona Taylor is an emerging writer, voracious reader and is completely addicted to wrap dresses. Her love of crime and psychological thrillers was born when she first read Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express at age twelve. Fiona has studied Professional Writing & Editing (PWE) at RMIT and recently completed Faber Writing Academy’s Writing A Novel course with award winning author Carrie Tiffany. In January 2022, Fiona was fortunate to attend a Masterclass with bestselling author, Fiona McIntosh.

Fiona’s work appears in the 2021 Faber Anthology and her short story, Birdsong, received a Highly Commended in the 2019 GMW Emerging Writers Competition. She lives near the stunning Yarra Valley in Victoria with her family and is partial to a full-bodied merlot. Fiona is currently working on her first novel, The Cutting, a domestic thriller set at a winery.
